...and not too much is really going on. We are in the process of discussing the Dining and Kitchen plans with our guy in Richmond. I am going to try to put those plans on this Blog. But it's all pretty much at a StandStill now it seems. Not sure why.
Kevin is doing a dinner at the Brampton Inn later this month. Actually on July 1st. It will be a prix-fixe menu of maybe five courses and only available to guests of the Inn. So far, Danielle tells us, there are already 11 reservations for the meal!! The menu will be as Eastern Shore (meaning there will be crab on it) as possible, with plenty of great Produce from Joseph I am sure. Possibly some prototype items for future consumption as well.
Other than that, there is not much to report. We are finding plenty to keep us occupied, but not as much with RK&B as we would like to be. We really want to be confident that a November Opening is realistic, but when no one else seems to think it's going to be possible, and when days and days go by with "not much going on", it's hard to remain so optimistic. We are doing what we can, though, to keep our end of the bargain going, and right now that means figuring out how to get at least 50 seats in that dining room.
