It may not look like much, but things are moving along in the Kitchen of Brooks Tavern. The floor will be poured early next week - an epoxy that is pretty much the standard in commercial kitchens anymore - so a lot of the work this week is making sure they are ready for that. Wiring is also a top priority right now. We've been making daily - and oftentimes thrice-daily - visits to the job site since there seems to be some communication issues between us and the drawings at times, and of course we want things to be done a certain way! The pictures you see here include a view looking out the back door, a view looking from there to that warm glow of the DR, a similar view that shows the future dish area, and the view of the future line. With any amount (any, we'll take any at all) of luck, all this will look completely different by the end of next week and will start housing some serious kitchen equipment the week after that.
