The DR cleaned up really well - they sort of power washed the walls and ceiling and then put a stain on everything so the new wood would match the old. Apparently there was nothing anyone could do about that charred corner up there in the upper right - they couldn't even replace it, according to the historical aspect of the building. Some of that does seem ridiculous, if you ask me, but there it is. The siding is currently going up over the block and I like that look a lot, although I assume they'll be painting it later.
