You know how it is...sometimes you just feel like a change. You've got all this time on your hands to fuss in front of the computer, and Blogger is offering these upgrades, and all it takes is time, which, as we've said, you've got plenty of. So, here it is. They have made it so easy for you - with Super Blogger - that you don't even need to go into the HTML to change the fonts or colors or even add links or the Weather Banner to your Blog, you just have to click the right buttons. (So, will someone please remind me why I am taking a WebDesign class that is teaching me HTML?) I think it's fun to change things all around and add the bells and whistles...and luckily I've got time to do it...or not so luckily, depending on how you look at things.
Meanwhile, I'll begin this post with a picture of the "Blue Dome", as it was seen the other day on Cherry Lane. From there we go into town to the Mill and see what's going on there.

Steel Fab is the company putting the roof over our heads...supposedly. There have been many - many - delays: architect rejects plans and fails to get them back to the contractor, manufacturer subcontracts out to subcontractor who fails to construct, contractor misses many construction dates...and makes one more which we hope actually happens - February 5th. We'll see. Otherwise, to hear Calvin tell it, their ass is grass.

Inside there is some work - lots of dry wall - being done, although mostly in the Radcliffe Offices...of course.
The Lobby to the building leads to the door to the restaurant, which you can see in the left hand photos.

Above: the bar cubby booth and the entry way looking from the DR to the Lobby.

We met with Katie at the Health department on Monday...she went over our plans and we made arrangements to come back with a Menu to do the H.A.C.C.P. review. Oh glory, Kevin is so thrilled.

So, later, we go wandering throughout the building. It is going to be spectacular - the wood left in place, the offices with dormer windows, the bathroom with the "exterior" interior walls. Looking good. We selected our office but then we realized that that was probably Randy's...

Outside, the deck gets a roof. The interior shot is looking out toward said deck.

And I am sure you are fascinated by theses pictures of drains and pipes...

And! there's the proof of the Grease Trap!!

Kevin demonstrates the Future.

When we remember what this building looked like in April - when this Blog began - it does seem pretty remarkable that it's come this far. I'll repost one of those original pictures side by side the "new" Mill so we can really appreciate it. Until then, Calvin is the Boss and we hope he can "git r dun" in time for us to receive our furniture and equipment and gas lines and bartop...a lot of which is ordered and some of which is ready for delivery. But as usual...wait until that roof goes up!
I've been here at the Public Library doing this Post and it has been difficult, despite the High-Speed. I don't know if there have been "blogger" issues or if it's "just me", but this has taken forever and I can't wait to see how it looks when I hit the "publish" button. I just know that maybe Super Blogger still has a few kinks to work out! Aaaaggghhhh...back to HTML!!!
